Synopsis: Using the innovations and techniques of American Pop Artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy LIchtenstein as starting points. Students identify iconic objects from daily life that reflect life in the 1960s or relate to the life and times then.

Title: Singapore Pioneer Artists (Painting)

Synopsis: With reference to the work of Singapore’s Pioneer Artists whose style was eventually collectively known as the Nanyang School of Painting, students study the subjects and techniques of Art in 1960s Singapore and produce artwork in tribute to those groundbreaking times.
